The Valley Equestrian Club Kempsey Inc a long standing equestrian club - established 1987 (formerly known as North Coast Jump Club

Our aim is to cater for all types of equestrian disciplines, including Dressage, Hack & All Breed Shows, Show Jumping, Fun Activity Days and a range of Training Activities.  All events encouraging people from all levels and disciplines to come out to compete or just experience something new with their horses.

For us, this means that we strive to be inclusive as possible, offering opportunities to the newest of newbies, nervous or those riders returning to the saddle, right up to the more experienced riders and horses.

This means providing a safe and supportive environment to have a go and get that dreaded first show or two out of the way.  For the more experienced, we try to attract a good level of competitions for people to challenge themselves and achieve goals.  As the club continues to grow and adapt, so will diversity of classes across disciplines and the value of classes across all abilities.

The years calendar is set out with a good combination of Training/T-Shirt Days, clinics and accredited shows, introducing new disciplines as often as we can.  Clinics are often run in conjunction or close to an upcoming event of the similar nature.   T-Shirt events are organised to the same level as a formal show, yet with a more relaxed atmosphere and attire to encourage the new competitors to give it a go without the concern of all the extra fancy show equipment.  A great way to take that step into showing without the pressure.

VEC Calendar is planned in great lengths to work cohesively with surrounding clubs and associations.

We are located at Kempsey Showground - who have provided the club with so many new upgraded amenities, stables and a permanent dressage arena since 2018.

We are always looking for new volunteers to help with our events.
